RAF265(CHIR-265) is a derivative of Raf265 that is an oral, highly selective RAF and VEGFR kinase inhibitor with IC50 of of 5 to 10 μM. RAF is a key component of the RAS/RAF/MEK/ERK signal-transduction pathway, which controls cell proliferation, differentiation, and apoptosis in mammalian cells. Raf265 also has anti-angiogenic activity through inhibition of vascular endothelial growth factor receptor 2 (VEGFR-2).
